Free File Friday: Stars

It's time to use a star cut file!  We have many free star designs to get your project started.  Show us who is your all star, gives you starry eyes, document your Independence Day photos, camping under the stars, or who you know that is serving in the military.  We can't wait what stars can be used for on your projects this month.
Here are just some of the star cut files found in the PI free files:

Let's take a look at some design team projects using some of the stars:

For my star LO, I used two fun star cut files: Starring you circle and the Stitching Star background from the store to document my son's 7th grade football season.  Pink Paislee Sweet Freedom worked perfectly with his red uniform. I love the watercolored blue ombre paper  that the star is backed with (and it is still in the store on sale!!).

Rachel used Carta Bella Space Academy for this amazing LO. The Geo Star cut file cut in black looks awesome with these cool space papers. I love the adorable B &W photo of her son in the cute frame layered on the star. Her titlework at the bottom of the page is perfect for this!

Amanda used the Geo Star, as well, but she used Photo Play's Freestyle collection and it looks oh, so cool! A completely different look with it set on woodgrain paper and cut in white cardstock.  All of the extra embellishments and wood veneer stars add to this boy blissed-out LO.

Anna made a lovely card using the Magical cut file Chevron Star. I love the distressed star border, stitching, messy threads and wood veneer layers. Cut files make such a light and pretty white on white layer for cards and projects.

Marcia layered two cut files-Count Your Lucky Stars background and Starring You circle to create this gorgeous starry masterpiece.  I love her tribute to MLK Jr. and the photos from her visit to his memorial site. She mixed Simple Stories Say Cheese 3 and bits from Pink Paislee Sweet Freedom that was included in the June Swag Bag kit.

Devra used the Starburst Bubbles cut file for this summery fun layout!I love how she used the cut file as a mask with her mists to create an amazing background to match with Bella Blvd Secrets of the Sea. The stitched border gives it a beach towel vibe which is so cool!
